Europe by People
– an interactive Wall of Life, based on the existing wall surrounding the navy base where the actual political activities take place.
– the newly built FabCity at the Java-eiland, a self sufficient society where young people – students, artists and professionals – will live, work, research and come up with solutions for every day city problems.
– throughout the city there will be an on stage program of performing arts
Urbi et Orbi asked us to help out with creating some content for a live Activation event by Europe by People. On the Dam in the city centre of Amsterdam a big electronic bull was set up. At the event people were asked what there thoughts were on the matter of Europe. There opinion, thought would then be show on a led board and they were asked to ride an electric bull to show there strength on the matters they raised.
Inspired by the story of Italian artist Titian’ “The Rape of Europe” painting. We illustrated and animated the Greek god Zeus, the goddess Europe and a bull for the led boards of the stage.
